Susan and Michael are amazing hosts. Their attention to detail was excellent: from the tea, cake, and biscuits served in the library upon our arrival to a complete tour of their establishment. I had a wonderful visit to Abinger House. My plane was three hours late but Mike still met me at the airport thanks to great coordination from Susan back at the house. I loved the attention to detail at Abinger House -- the way the two proprietors had thought of so many ways to make a person's visit pleasant. Wonderful breakfast the next day, a beautiful garden outside, a nice view from the Ranmore Room (at the back of the house) -- and beautiful soaker tub in the Ranmore's en suite.

Abinger House proved to be a most enjoyable place to stay while in Victoria. Susan met us at the door and not only showed us to our room but made us tea and served us cookies as well. Abinger House is an oasis of calm and comfort. We enjoyed wonderful truly homemade breakfasts, exceptional comfort and decor in our room, as well as a beautiful garden and a perfect location (quiet and convenient). Hosts, Susan and Michael, were very pleasant and helpful. We have rarely experienced such exceptional accomodations.
