Great location, close to everything, helpful staff, but for traditional room, read shoebox with basic amenities. The hotel is in the middle of everything, and a short easy stroll to Skier's Plaza. You can get to a coffee shop and at least a couple restaurants without even going outside. Our room was basic but very clean and quite comfortable.
The only minor nit is they have to improve WiFi service. We will stay again.

We stayed here for five nights in Jan 2012. The hotel was clean, modern and located right in the heart of Whistler village just 50metres from the base of both Whistler and Blackcomb mountains - the location could not be faulted. There was complimentary wi-fi internet which was good.

Have to say that we had a good experience at the Crystal. Really nice accommodations with everything that a ski village hotel could offer. Ski lifts, restaurants, bars all outside the front steps. And not overly noisy inside. Nice outdoor pool and hot tub. Although kind of awkward to get to around the supper hour....
