A great place with friendly staff just 5 mins south of Whistler village. Staying in the Nita is much more peaceful than in the busy village. We had a superb, spacious corner studio room with a nice view of the lake and mountains. The room had large windows, a comfy king size bed, a fireplace, free internet, big bathroom with...

We stayed here and loved everything about it. Even though it was a big hotel we felt like we had lots of privacy. Great food in the restaurants and super close to Creekside lifts. Fantastic views from every window. We had tons of snow and the conditions were perfect! Love Whistler and now love Nita Lake Lodge.

As I understand it, Nita Lake was built when the global economy was strong with the intention that some of the units be sold. The financial crisis came along, few units were sold and the whole structure of the company behind the hotel went through significant turmoil. Early in 2012 the ownership changed and a new General Manager was appointed....

I know all the places to stay in Whistler blow--overpriced, and very very average at best--but this place came with such high recommendations, I felt I had to write and say frankly, it sucks. On the plus side, the rooms and public spaces are well designed -- the hotel looks look very much like the Four Seasons--and the lake front setting is pretty. It feels though, like the owners have have cut back in other areas to save money. The Hotel is understaffed and the staff they have are mostly young, seasonal workers without...

I highly recommend - stayed 4 nights. Amazing rooms - fireplace, vaulted ceiling, large, IPOD dock. Great bar/restaurant; great location; great spa; great staff. Easy short walk to Creekside where you store your skis.

We booked this through the "blind" last-minute deals section of whistlerblackcomb.com. I thought that staying in the village would be more convenient, but the free shuttle service the hotel offers makes it really easy to get around. The rooms are really lovely - the bathroom was fantastic, with a heated floor and huge tub. For a winter getaway, it's also...

I stayed 6 nights with my spouse end Jan 2012 for snowboarding. It is a present experience for us and we are looking forward to return next snow season if we are going to Whistler again!
At first we have done lots of research for accommodations as it was our first time. We were attracted by the high ranking and...
