Rooms on second floor. Lovely, private and clean. Could use more lighting and perhaps a spruce up, was a little run down feeling. Breakfast was good and the service was very nice. It was a bit cool and house could have used the heat turned up slightly. Would stay again.

Beautiful Victorian house on a quiet street. Large room with a good bathroom and comfortable bed. Decent breakfast. Very agreeable hosts - Sam and Yolande. Good value for money. One complaint: the room badly needed one, or maybe two, comfortable reading chairs.

The room was much larger than it looked in the picture, the bed was unbelievably comfortable and breakfast was a 4 course meal! We only stayed for one night, but it was very memorable. Classic-style inn with lovely decor. Sam and Yolande were wonderful hosts; very hospitable with lots of advice for dining and sightseeing. The breakfast was delicious and very filling!

This was our second stay at The Very Best and it really does live up to its name. All the room are lovely and the decor was lovingly done by the hostess. The breakfast was almost too much to eat and too good to leave on your plate. Love everything about The Very Best.
