There is no denying that this is a budget motel (rated 2 stars). The rooms are pretty simple, but we had two queen beds, a refrigerator and a microwave. The mattresses were quite soft, a bit too soft for my taste. The AC worked fine. The room was actually chilly when we walked in. The decor is pretty basic but nothing was sketchy. The bathroom was fine. There is a pub type restaurant in the building with the office. It was good and very convenient after a long day drive. There is a bit of noise from the road, but not much during the night. Service was friendly although we didn't need anything. We were satisfied with this motel given the price.

This place is a rip off. They will try to make u leave and not give your money back that was paid up front. Including damage deposit. The place is dirty. They have drug deals being done all the time on the property

I was looking for a place to stay in Fredericton North and there isn't a lot of choice. This motel was close and very cheap - well you get what you pay for. The room smelled terrible, the AC didn't really work and I couldn't open the windows, and the toilet was stained. I'm pretty sure no one had stayed in that room for at least a year. Oh, and there was no chain on the door guard to the hall. Overall, I don't intend to stay there again.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Horrible experience this past weekend, management is difficult and chooses to provide atrocious customer service. Worst customer experience I have ever dealt with!!!! I rarely complain, but cannot let this situation go. Booked into this motel for the weekend (Sept 25th-27th)coming to attend a local dog show. I never book hotels/motels without air conditioning so made sure it was offered by Fort Nashwaak. The morning of my stay I even called, spoke to an employee to confirm my room would have a/c which she confirmed. I arrived after dark, so checked in and off to my room. As soon as I arrived to my room, NO AC! I immediately contacted the front desk to express my frustration and dissatisfaction and asked to be moved; was told he couldn’t do anything, was very sorry he’d have the supervisor call me first thing in the a.m. Needless to say, no call came, I had to leave for the show. As soon as I returned I contacted the front desk, and for the record it was now almost 30 degrees and my room was roasting!!! Got the same guy, apologetic but would not allow me to move rooms, I asked to be moved to the room next to me that was vacant and had a/c (you can see the units hanging out the windows) only to be told that room had no a/c...what? Clearly a lie and was an effort to try and shut me up. Again, I was told the supervisor was the only one who could do anything and she’d be in in the morning. To placate me he brought me an old, barely working fan, that made no difference. After a hot and sleepless night, I got a call in the morning, the supervisor was nice, BUT could do nothing! She could only take the info and call the manager! By this point any person would be frustrated and irritated. At this point I am checking out and want a partial refund for the misery and lies and horrible service along with 2 sleepless nights in crazy hot room, Not to mention the fact that I did not get what was advertised or paid for (a/c). Supervisor calls me back only to say the manage will give me 25% off your next stay, which rectifies absolutely nothing with this situation. I told her that was unacceptable, she apologized and agreed and went back to the manager. As I went to check out, the manager who refused to deal with me directly, and was texting with her staff, texted to the supervisor to say “tough luck she agreed to stay when she spent the night we’re not giving her any money back”, I know this as I saw the text in her phone and the supervisor read it out loud to me, It’s BS and horrible customer service. They charged the full two night stay on my card when I checked in, so I couldn’t just leave without a refund. I couldn’t go, they already had my damn money! I didn’t ask for a full refund but a partial one, which seems more than reasonable. This place is a DUMP, and if was $60/night I’d say you get what you pay for but at over $100/night it’s absolutely highway robbery and then to not provide an a/c unit as advertised as part of the rooms AND confirmed by an employee is more than false advertising it’s flat out lying. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE ANY BUSINESS!!!! If you arrive at night yo cannot see anything as there is little to no outside lighting for drive up rooms, my sink was hanging off the wall. I had friends that couldn’t use their shower as it was full of bugs. Support another business in the area, and safe yourself some misery!

I stayed for three nights and was able to get a dog friendly room that had what I needed. Although some rooms are older in style, management and ownership is in the process of updating things and doing well. Good wifi, great location and even better staff. What made this place was the attentive and stunning staff who were willing to help in a myriad of ways to make the visit easier. Bonus: walking distance to Picaroons brewery and attached to the hotel is Cannons Cross. Would definately stay here again.

Super friendly, ultra helpful staff. They may be small but they are one mighty team there! The room was clean, cozy and quiet - and even for the February, the views were fantastic. I will definitely be returning and recommend this place to anyone looking to rest their head while supporting small businesses! Thank you so much guys.

My husband and I stayed at the Fort Nashwaak. The customer service at check in and check out were awesome. The room we stayed in was very spacious. We had a microwave and a mini fridge. It had just went through many renovations and worth it. The price was very economical. Anyone travelling through Fredericton, I would recommend The Fort Nashwaak. There close to all amenities and a Pub on site.

Our visit started with check-in with a friendly and informative desk clerk (Thank you Dylan!) We enjoyed a tasty dinner in the pub and passed the night in a clean, comfy room at a great price. Checkout was quick and again, the staff was friendly and wished us a very pleasant trip.

Room well up to standard, with fridge and microwave as well. Excellent front desk service. Bit sad the on-site restaurant (dark and chilly!) didn't open for breakfast on weekdays. Nice location beside the river.

We stayed overnight after driving from Ontario and were met with great service at the front desk. The room was we stayed in was quite large and had three beds and a full kitchen. The location is really good and its minutes away from all the paths and trails and is only a short drive away from downtown. There is also a restaurant bar attached to it.
