Restaurant has great view of Corner Brook as hotel is situated high on a hillside, but service was very slow (took forever to get seated, to have menus provided, to get the check, and then to pay). Food was fair in quality and quantity. Did not stay at the hotel, only ate lunch there.

As a vegetarian the only main course I could eat was the Alfredo pasta. I asked for some mushrooms to be added. The pasta arrived more like a noodle soup swimming in a runny sauce and four slices of mushrooms thrown on top. At least it was hot. No amount of salt or pepper or pouring off the excess liquid... The hotel was just plain "Dirty"....the floors was rotten, the bathrooms were full of mold and there is DUST everywhere....especially in the lobby areas..the fire alarm is coated with dust in the hall, it is so disgusting...I just didn't feel a sense of clean from the moment we arrived. This hotel is one of the oldest in Corner Brook. It is past it's time and should be tore down. Everything is old and broken or near broken. The beds are very uncomfortable. The shower was disappointing ( had to chase the drops). Book at the hotel across the road. It's a comfort inn and is much nicer.

Roar of the a/c .. My card never worked.. The beds are crap ... And no elevator ... ... My stay was not a confort stay .. Maybe I will look into something better next time .. Good thing pets are aloud .. Although I didn't have one..
