Stayed for two nights and it was nice. Joy is wonderful and makes you feel at home. One downfall, which wouldn't be if the weather was cooler outside (crazy hot summer on the rock), is that it's a bit noisy, as Duckworth is a busy street. I would give it 5 star otherwise. Thank you for everything!

Extremely disappointed!!! Initially thought room was ok, but bed ridiculously high and not particularly comfortable- what is that all about? Hot water tap on the shower did not stay on so cold showers it was and absolutely no facility for tea and coffee or even a glass of water. In fact owner sent us round the corner to a coffee...

Charming place to stay just off Duckworth Street, walking distance to shops and restaurants downtown, and to Signal Hill. The rooms are very comfortable; breakfast is a full breakfast, good food and fine presentation; warm hospitality. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to St. John's.
