Outstanding hospitality from this small and intimate property located a very convenient 15 minute walk from downtown. While a lot of the larger properties were closed when we were there it was refreshing to see this smaller property catering to those who like to travel in the off season. Room was perfectly appointed with a fabulous bathroom, and the smoked... More

This was a first time staying at a B&B for either my mom or myself and we both very much enjoyed it. We had booked a few days with them in the middle of April ( not the tourist season ) ,but there was still a lot to see. Ted and Sue were very informative about the town and had... More

We received a very warm welcome. Sue and Ted were very accommodating and knowledgable about the town. The Tulip Tree B&B is a special place. A beautiful place to stay, run by incredibly dedicated and friendly people. Absolutely no complaints... Well maybe one. That we can't have Sue's Pancakes now that we're home. Breakfast was delicious! We would recommend this... More

I have not stayed at a B&B in the past so I was not sure what to expect. The tulip tree is warm and welcoming on entering. Ted and Sue are very nice sincere hosts and welcomed me into their home. After showing me my room, which was absolutely beautiful, they left me to enjoy my evening. The beautiful bathroom... More

We happen to stay at the Tulip Tree B&B in Jan. Sue and Ted made you feel like you just dropped in on your best friends. We stayed in Marys Retreat, the perfect name for the suite. The four poster bed to die for, would have stayed there all day, exept I heard bout the yummy breakfast, especially the blueberry... More

I cannot recommend the Tulip Tree enough. The breakfast was delicious both days, Sue really knocks herself out in providing delicious and balanced breakfasts. Ted gave us great directions on where to go and what to see. Charlie the dog is a gracious host with limited ranging power. He is a delightful fellow who appreciates a little loving, but is... More

Sue and Ted were lovely, as was their dog Charlie (he isn't allowed in the guest areas but he's so happy when you go to his area to give him some love). We stayed in "Elizabeth's Hideaway" and it looks like a princess's room! The bathroom looks like something out of a magazine! We were lucky to stay when the... More

Totally felt right at home. Great visit. Wonderful breakfast and the fresh muffins for the rest of our road trip was way above and beyond. Absolutely gorgeous rooms. Will certainly go back in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Tulip Tree B&B. We stayed in Marie's Retreat, with a lovely bedroom and private bath with shower. The best part about the room though was the beautiful sitting room which overlooked the back gardens. It would be easy to spend an afternoon just relaxing and reading a book in this room. A full hot... More

We staying at the Tulip Tree Inn in mid October for a brief getaway vacation. We hit the jackpot with the Tulip Tree Inn. Our hosts, Sue and Ted made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. They were a wealth on information about the area and places to visit and eat. At their recommendation we explored a hiking area nearby.... More
