Got storm stayed in Antigonish at the Homeward Inn. Decided to try our luck at the Homeward inn. Nothing but awesome hospitality and first class service. Rooms were great! Very efficient staff and got a complimentary breakfast at the snow queen the next morning.

Nothing fancy. A bed, a good TV and a fridge. The accomodations were adequate for 1 person, as I was travelling alone. The bathroom was small but again, manageable for 1 person. Friendly and efficient check-in at a good price. Lots of eating establishments nearby. Although it was no-smoking we could smell smoke from the adjoining unit. There was also noise through the wall unfortuantely. We did not report this situation.

have stayed there on and off for 2 months...many of the rooms have moisture issues..paint pealing off walls..moved to different rooms part way thru stay..badly patched holes in walls..toilet so close to tub have to sit side ways on it..discoloured water..brown...flloor not cleaned daily.same dirt on it..house keeping unplugs air conditioning..turns heat down when you r out for the day... Stayed here in May, the staff were very friendly and the room recently renovated. Great location, close to everything, right off the highway. Breakfast coupons were included for the restaurant next door which was great. Walking distance to downtown and the university. Definitely the place to stay during your visit to Antigonish!
