This B&B should be on the best B&B list and at the top of it. Going to my son graduation at St-FX Antigonish we wanted to have more of the Nova Scotia feeling then the 10 minutes tour of the campus life. Staying in a B&B is being in somebody’s home and in somebody’s life for a short moment and... More

The Blue Tin Roof B&B was our first stop of many when we traveled around Nova Scotia this spring. The rooms are decorated with a lot of love and the bed in the Lake Room was one of the most comfortable beds we've slept on in a while. The view from the lower level rooms that have a separate exit... More

While traveling through Nova Scotia our stay in Livingstone Cove was a true highlight. Exceptionally relaxing, and despite the isolated spot we didn't feel any solitude. Victor and Nadine were more than helpful hosts without being invasive at all.

Of our 18 day trip to Nova Scotia, this was one of the clear favourite B and Bs. It is a beautiful house, a credit to Nadine and Victor who are rightly proud of it. Carefully constructed to be energy efficient but also tastefully decorated and furnished such that a most pleasing ambiance has been created. The sea of trees is... More

If you are looking for a somewhat isolated spot, with welcoming hosts, this is a good place to spend a night or 2. It is a bit further from Antigonish than we expected but not too bad if you are going to be based in this area for a few days - not so good if just passing through en... More

I have been meaning to write this review for over a year. We stayed at the Blue Tin Roof last summer, on our way to the Cabot Trail, and loved it so much that we booked a stay on our return. It is a little out of the way from Antigonish, but well worth the drive. Situated out in the... More

What a truly special place. This b&b is a real one-off. It's in an idyllic location surrounded by fabulous countryside and close to the beach. Breakfast was historic and like everything else here showed real attention to detail. Nadine and Victor were very affable, knowledgeable and attentive. I was taken aback to be watching hummingbirds feeding on the patio no... More

Just back from a couple of nights @ The Blue Tin Roof. Nadine & Victor were great hosts and made us most welcome in their recently built energy efficient home. Our room opened out onto a covered porch with great westerly views to the Northumberland Strait. The communal breakfast was very enjoyable & sets you up nicely for the day.... More

This B&B had many appealing qualities, but also some limitations. Working from top to bottom of our experiences: The rooms are clean and the building is very quiet. Nadine and Vic were polite and welcoming. The location is quite isolated, and it took us more than half an hour to drive into Antigonish for dinner. Breakfast was not bad, but... More

We stayed in the Blue Tin Roof for one night in July, but wish we could have stayed for more! The owners are most accommodating and pleasant. The rooms are modern, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning is served downstairs, with nice options. The views of the countryside are amazing - take them in while you polish off... More
