Very friendly staff and very clean rooms. There is a $10 per 24 hour use of the internet charge. I always enjoy my stay at this hotel. More

“Service above & beyond”

Received superb service from Front Desk Clerk, Michael Chapman. I needed business services (printing, compilation of documents, etc.) at midnight for an early morning meeting. Michel could not have been more helpful and accomodating. He was competent, professional and very polite. I would stay at this property again solely based upon his care and service. More

A Halifax classic. In a city with no good hotels, this one always suffices. The Westin was a grand old railway hotel (still has a working train station attached) with lovely function space. It's bar and restaurant is always below average, make meal and drinks plans elsewhere. Halifax, for what it lacks in hotels, it makes up for in restaurants... More

the hotel is great...cant complain.... only surprise is 18 a day to park your car........ i found that a bit high of a price....everything is close to downtown.... so no issues what so ever.... Good restaurants ..very close to the hotel.... The best room ..... one showing the harbor... nice view. More

“Amazing Lobby but Guest Rooms Leave alot to be Desired !”

We stayed at the Westin for two nights in August. On check-in, staff were great and the room had a nice view of the harbour, the room itself was certainly average, although clean. My wife and I spent a couple of nights at the Westin Nova Scotian in December 2011.
