My mom and I stayed at the Sea Watch for 2 nights while travelling through Nova Scotia on a 10 night vacation, and it was the best place we stayed! We felt very welcome and comfortable. Elaine and Stan are wonderful people. The B&B is approximately 15 minutes from downtown, in a great location on the waterfront. We stayed in... More

This B&B is worth staying at just to see the decorations - on a nautical theme, they are wonderful and ubiquitous. The bed was comfortable, the kitchenette in the room very handy including the small fridge. The view of the harbour (the arm? I think) is fantastic - Sea Watch is only about 40 feet from the water's edge! Breakfast... More

The owner has had FAR too much fun decorating this place. We were still discovering additional nautical themed decorations during the second day of our stay. The room decor includes fascinating touches such as huge ropes framing the windows, a couple of olde oars forming one corner of the room, and lobster traps converted to hold your luggage. Elaine serves... More

We stayed 2 nights in the Ship's Wheel suite which was chock a block full of real ship's artifacts - oars, lamps, 2 steering wheels, ropes etc. What a fun place to stay! Breakfast is served in your room with large sea shells covering the plates and coffee cups to keep things warm. We woke up to a beautiful view... More

How was our stay at the SeaWatch B&B?  Amazing!  We loved our stay at SeaWatch for so many reasons!  For us, the location was perfect.  We had planned to see all of Halifax, visit the Bay of Fundy and the Southern and Eastern Shores.  SeaWatch was such a convenient location for all of our sightseeing, especially Halifax.  We could drive there in just a few minutes, and... If your taste runs to the nautical, you are in for a treat at Sea Watch B&B. We stayed for two nights in the Ships Wheel and enjoyed it immensely.m It is upstairs with a wonderful view out to the water. It is very quiet and peaceful. Watching the sunrise from bed can't be beat...worth getting up to see. A... More

The two rooms at Seawatch B&B were fantastic! Private entrances with private balconies that overlooked Halifax Harbor were accentuated with authentic nautical memorabilia. Elaine and Stan Hatfield were the perfect hosts who catered to our every need with down-to-earth charm making our vacation in Nova Scotia one of our best. If one is seeking a quiet scenic getaway with charming... More

We come to Halifax every year, have since 2000 and we will be back this year. Each year we have stayed at Seawatch, and yes, we are going back this summer. The ambiance is great...the view from the large deck is to die for and the boss and her husband are the best hosts you coukd ask for. Halifax is... More

Rather eccentric Accomodation where the knickknacks superseded the comfort of the room overall it was adequate but overpriced. Simple but nice breakfast and stunning views.

SeaWatch is a great place to stay if you want peace and quiet but only 20 minutes from downtown. The nautical decor is authentic and amazing. We stayed upstairs in the Ship's Wheel which had lots of light with a vaulted ceiling and skylights. The place is right on the harbour and we had breakfast on our private deck. The... More
