A lovely historic boutique hotel, quiet, on beautiful grounds and very close to Western university. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The place is charming, and the rooms are comfortable, though a bit dated. In some rooms cleanliness is more of an issue than others. The breakfast open buffet has deteriorated and became more basic over the years unfortunately. Eggs, bacon, toast and jam. It is a lovely place to stay in London though , and we have done so repeatedly in the past.

Beautiful facilities, great service, great food. I was there for a wedding and it was the perfect intimate setting, the Grand Hall is beautiful and the perfect place for a wedding or other event. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean. There were four of us and we had tons of space.

Loved this hotel as our home away from home while a family member was having surgery. With only a 10-min. walk to the hospital and free parking at the hotel, it was a perfection location. The hotel is quaint, very relaxing, and quiet. I've stayed at many of the hotels in London before and this is my favourite. It has charm and is definitely not your run of the mill hotel.

I stayed here with my Dad before my hospital appointments. The room is dated for sure but it matches the appeal of the manor style hotel. Our suite faced the forest so we saw a few deer which was pretty cool. The only complaint I would have is that neither of the TV remotes worked to change the channel and one didn’t do anything for the TV. We asked the front desk staff and all they said was that we would have to get up and down to change channels using the side of the TV. It was a little inconvenient but it was ok. Because of my tests, I couldn’t eat but my Dad said the breakfast was decent with bagels, muffins and coffee. Overall it was a good stay and felt like we were not in the city anymore which was nice.

Our family was recently at Restaurant 91 at Windermere Manor to celebrate a birthday. We went for brunch and right away were made to feel at home. Drinks came right away and were added as all of our guests arrived. The food was so tasty and delivered hot! The in-house pastries were scrumptious! The birthday cake - fabulous to look at and taste! The service by Sarah and others was exceptional! We will definitely return. Thank you!!!

This was recommended to me bc many people go to Windermere if they have family in the Hospital across the street and they give a hospital rate in those circumstances. I took the opportunity and was really glad I chose Windermere Manor, on a nice day it is a pleasant walk, 10 mins or so to the hospital, I was there in the winter so a quick drive over. Staff was friendly and accomodating (since my dad was having surgery I asked if my room could be ready sooner over later and they complied). It is a manor style building, the decor reflects that but it is warm and comfortable and set within the university grounds in a lovely urban wooded area. Rooms are clean, a computer room, small gym and candy machine is available and they offer complimentary continental breakfast in the morning, one of the highlights as I saw two deer as I was eating my breakfast. The dining room, a short pace in the building next door is very comfortable with large windows overlooking the woods, a very relaxing atmosphere after having spent the day at the hospital. The Chicken Tangiers was excellent, the food is made to order, very fresh, takes a bit longer than the average restaurant but for me that night I just wanted to relax. The only downside was at 5am I was awoken to heavy footsteps walking in the room above me. I guess the insulation between floors isn't too thick, but the bed and room was very comfortable.

Nice atmosphere. Lots of Windows. Renovation is beautiful compared to the old restaurant. The food was quite good. A few more choices without carbs would be nice but overall a lovely meal. Staff are professional and respectful.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know that you enjoyed our Restaurant 91. It has changed from years gone by and we are always pleased when someone takes the time to let us know about their experience. The menu is catered to each season, so perhaps we were expecting more cold weather than what we have received, thus far. Our Spring and Summer menu, I'm sure would be less carbs but we are always open to suggestions and I will be sure to pass your comments along, to our Executive Chef. All the best in all of your travels and we look forward to seeing you again!

I had a spacious room on the third floor and greatly enjoyed the style of the room and of the whole hotel. Situated in a park close to the university, it breaths a European atmosphere. Continental breakfast during weekdays of a very good quality, and during the weekends an even more extensive breakfast in the adjacent hotel restaurant. Staff very friendly.
