We spent last week end here and what a wonderful experience. We've stayed in B& B's before but this is a step above. There are six rooms in a fantastic old Victorian, pretty much as it was when it was built. It has been lovingly restored and most of the wood work and all the windows are original. Comfortable modern... More

We stayed two days in this lovely antique house and we really enjoyed it. The owner took time to explain us the surroundings and she made us feel like home. It's very well situated and the bike path is just in front of the house. The breakfasts were very good , but we would have preferred to have them earlier. More

We stayed one overnight to celebrate our 50th birthdays. Eva was extremely helpful, recommending several restaurants and wineries. She was spot-on with those recommendations. Our dinner was fantastic, we liked every piece of advice she gave us. We spent some time out on the veranda, and had the opportunity to chat with another couple in a relaxed setting. The room... The Grand Victorian was the perfect 3-day weekend getaway for us. Start with a home that was built before the American Civil war. Add an owner who has lovingly refurbished it room by room, removing 10 layers of paint from a beautiful wooden staircase railing and all of the fireplaces (and, I'm sure, many other places). Set it all next... More

We stayed here with two other couples in June 2011. Eva was a great hostess, breakfast was fantastic, and we really loved having our wine on the porch with friends. It's quiet and peaceful and the winery is right next door. Doesn't get much better. We will come again! More

My husband and I just stayed at the Grand Victorian. It is a beautiful home! Eva and her family are very nice and welcoming, and I loved their cat and dog :) The porch is awesome, beautiful flowers all around and very fragrant! We stayed in the Jackson Room, very nice. It is on the ground floor, so the only... More

I loved this place, it really did feel like you stepped back in time. A grand, old mansion from the late 1800's, it was lovingly converted into a B&B...creaky wood floors, antique furnishings and art, wood burning fireplaces on every level, soft jazz playing in the parlor, so many nice places to enjoy tea and sit quietly or read a... Stayed at the Grand Victorian for Valentines day with my fiancee. We stayed in the West room, which we thought was a nice size with a big bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. The picture on the website of this room is a little different then what the current lay-out of the room is, because it now has a electric... More

We had the pleasure of staying at The Grand Victorian last month and it was very warm and inviting. This huge historic mansion is quite the experience. Eva the owner is very dedicated to maintaining this old house's charm. She has worked very hard to keep this house in its original form and it has paid off. Thanks again Eva... More

My husband and I work so many hours and never have time to relax and connect. Until we came to the Grand Victorian. This old house has an aura about it that as soon as your step inside, the senses to respect and enjoy the little things in life- come to life. As we had a glass of wine on... More
