“A GREAT place to stay!”

Drove from Halifax and stayed at the Dufton House...it was one of the best B&B we have every stayed in and we have travelled the country from the east coast to the west coast...breakfast was just wonderful,and the hostess friendly and caring for are needs..definately a 5 star! Bed and Breakfast.We will be back...Tom and Shelly

Staying at the Dufton House is a delight! Our room is very large with a stocked mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, and pretty much anything else you could want to make light meals. Every day our hostess leaves the next morning's breakfast treat as well as fresh fruit and juice. We eat breakfast when we want! As a runner, this... More

“Dufton House was AWFUL”

Dufton house is more of a rooming house than a B and B; there were no common areas and no comfortable chairs to sit in . The back staircase that led to our room was dark, steep and smelled moldy. It is close to the theatre.

Dufton House is a Heritage Home built in 1882 and is located on the North Side of the River. The home has been carefully renovated into private suites which are spacious and very accommodating. The only entrance to the second floor is also at the front of the house beside the main entrance. I feel that the critical and unkind... More
