Hosts Tracey and Darrell were very warm and inviting. The room was lovely, with a super comfy bed. Breakfast was great. The location is a nice walk to the Avon or Patterson theatres, and to the main restaurant area. We will book again.

We had a lovely time at this B&B. Tracy and Darrell are wonderful hosts, and were so helpful with suggestions on where to eat and things to do. Their neighbourhood is so pretty with all the flowers and big houses! We stayed in the loft, which was spacious, and very comfortable.

Charming, comfortable, lovely hosts and generous breakfast. Different room options depending on your needs. Yes I would recommend and go again. Close to many restaurants and shops. Short walking distance to the Tom Patterson theatre.

We enjoyed a lovely September weekend overnight stay in the Cherry Rose room. Hosts Tracey and Darrell greeted us warmly and got us settled in our room. The room, with ensuite, was clean and nicely decorated, perfect for our needs. The delicious breakfast was elegantly served in the charming shared dining area which we were lucky enough to have to ourselves. The location of this B&B is convenient to shops, restaurants and theatres...most within walking distance. Thanks for your hospitality!

My sister and I came in from Toronto to see a Good Lovelies concert which we really enjoyed and we had found this bnb by accident online and really enjoyed it—comfy twin beds, lucked out and got a room with ensuite with whirlpool tub, very quiet, very accommodating hosts (Darrell told us some of the history of the Stratford festival origins) and far more than the advertised (on hotels.com) continental breakfast. Was a great breakie. If it had been summer, my sister and I, young seniors, who like to walk could easily have walked over to shopping or the festival and left our car. Good value. Shelley

I’m just finishing up my last night in Stratford and am sad to be leaving Arbour Garden! The house is beautiful and the hospitality and warmth provided by Darrell and Tracey immensely surpasses the price of accommodations. As soon as I arrived, they offered me tea, banana bread, and soup, all of which were absolutely delicious! The B&B is also a short walk from the downtown and all of the Stratford Festival’s theatres, making the location incredible. I would recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone staying in Stratford!

This is a very nice B&B with just a couple of problems. It's across the river from the theaters - we like to walk so this was a plus for us. The proprietors are very friendly and helpful. Good breakfasts and fun people to talk to (breakfast: a home made bread such as banana; a plentiful fresh fruit cup with yogurt; a hot egg entree with some kind of bacon and small salad; coffee or tea -- all savory rather than sweet breakfasts. No juice). Very clean. No common area to spend time in other than the breakfast table. No hot water available for tea at other times of day. Rooms 2 and 3 front on Waterloo street which is a main drag and has traffic sounds all night. Room 2 has no ensuite bath but does have a private bath just across the hall. Still -- I somehow didn't realize that and would not stay without ensuring I had an ensuite bathroom next time. Also, we were only given one robe for the two of us and the bathroom was across the hall! Walls are a little thin -- wasn't a problem for the most part but our neighbors did have the TV on loudly the last morning. If you get an inconsiderate neighbor, noise could be a problem. Bed was comfortable. Room 2 was quite small - it was difficult to have the (one) suitcase support open and actually get into the wardrobe which was the only place to put clothes. I believe the other rooms are bigger.

The hosts couldn’t be more accommodating and friendly. Having never been to Stratford Daryl and Tracy pointed us in the right direction to all the sites ,interesting places and all the best restaurants. Their home is beautiful and most importantly clean and comfortable. We left feeling well rested and refreshed. A top notch frittata and fruit breakfast will keep you going for hours.I can’t wait to come back. Also the location is close to everything.

Tracey and Darrell provided not just a comfortable, convenient base of operations for us while we attended the Stratford Theatre Festival, but they also came to our rescue when one of our car tires went flat. We came away from Arbour Garden Bed & Breakfast having made new friends. We hope to return one day.
