My husband and I recently stayed at foster's and agreed that after travelling together for 20 years - doing both high end and low-end trips, this was our worst pick of a hotel, ever . For over $200.00, we had an uninteresting square room, a very hard bed, uncomfortable pillows and couldn't sleep until all the noise from the bar... More

The Foster's Inn was a wonderful hotel to stay at and we are happy that we chose it. The food was fantastic and the staff were all very informative, friendly, and available if we needed them. Having a restaurant right at the Inn was very convenient and yummy for both dinner and breakfast.

Foster's Inn review outline After having lunch here last summer, I decided to pick the Inn for one night's accommodation while visiting Stratford again this year. Staying in Room 303, I was very happy with the room provided. I personally find that staying in a renovated older building is much more interesting than staying in a large new hotel. This... More

Stayed here for 5 days with 5 other colleagues and found this place to be very "homey". The staff were very hospitable and Craig, the owner, was fantastic! We were on the second floor, which can be loud from the music below but as soon as we let the staff know, they responded immediately. We ran out of hot water... More

We din't stay here but ate here. Restaurant is super noisy so we ended up sitting at the bar where it was quieter. The food was good but re realized after that the menu had said both our dishes came with fries and with salad. We were only given fries. Didn't find this a comfortable, relaxing place to eat at... Fosters Inn was a complete delight. It was our first time to Stratford and we did research on the internet to find a place to stay. The location for the hotel and all of the amenities it provided made for a perfect stay. The Avon theater was right next door, how convenient. We traveled with another couple and they shared... More

We stayed at Fosters twice in the last month and loved our experience on both occasions. We quite enjoy the charm/atmosphere in the core of Stratford and if you choose to take in a play at the Avon Theatre, you're perfectly located at Fosters. Our room was a bit spartan but large, with very high ceilings, typical of older buildings. We overlooked Downie... More

Stayed during the weekend of May 4-5. Check in was easy once I found the desk at the front of the bar. The room was clean, but very sparse and plain. As mentioned before, the bed was extremely hard, so sleeping was difficult. There was a little noise from other rooms, but nothing to cause a bother. Access to the... More

Watch out!. I made a reservation to stay overnight here. They charged my credit card immediately for the first night. Their policy, if you cancel the reservation in a timely manner, is to refund the charge. I requested the cancellation by email. They never responded to my request for an acknowledgement of the cancellation. I emailed several times asking for... More
