had a bit of trouble with the entry card for the room, took many tries before it worked, everythingelse was good.

We had pre-booked our room with hotwire.com and had specified that we needed a place that was pet friendly as we are moving across the country and needed a room to accommodate our 14 year old cat. I stayed at this Super 8 for one night as a stopover. For the price, I found it to be decent value. The room was clean, bed comfortable and they serve a normal motel breakfast (i.e. cereal, waffles, toast, coffee, tea). If I go to Thunder Bay again, I would stay at this Super 8.

Breakfast was good. The building is showing its age, needs a thorough refurbishing. The room was clean, bed comfortable, heating was good, nearby restaurants OK, recommend the Sushi place directly across the street - was surprisingly good for north-western Ontario
