Nestled in the heart of Yorkville, Four Seasons Hotel Toronto earns rave reviews for its luxurious amenities, including a spa and warm pool, which guests find impressive. The hotel's prime location is popular for its proximity to upscale dining and shopping, adding to the charm of the area. While the rooms are commended for their comfort and elegance, some visitors have encountered minor signs of wear and check-in issues. The service at this hotel is frequently lauded, with staff members providing warm and attentive care. However, some guests feel the hotel's high cost does not always translate into commensurate value. Cleanliness is a standout feature, with many guests praising the spotless conditions of the rooms and bathrooms. The hotel's atmosphere is described as welcoming and luxurious, contributing to a memorable stay.

Gorgeous property, great location, mostly friendly people, room quality best ! some areas of improvement - App never knows I am coming or am in the hotel even though I am registered and checked in. They never have my reservation on the app before I arrive and the desk check me in - maybe I did not make the cut - Bloomberg channel on TV shows a blank screen - check in time was 3 and I arrived at 2pm - admittedly before time . I was asked to sit in the lobby and wait for a text ! Never got the text and went back to check again at 3.15. Finally got the keys then. Either they are terribly busy or the folks at the counter need some training on how to make a person welcome - given that I have used them multiple times across US and Canada over the last few months.

We stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto this past weekend to celebrate my 65th birthday. From the moment I entered the hotel every staff member that I encountered wished me a happy birthday. It truly made my special day even more special. I have traveled extensively and in my opinion the hotel is truly the best of the best.

We had a great experience! Marisa the General Manager and Emma the hostess were Amazing! They were very warm upon welcoming my family to DBar and they continuously checked in to make sure everything was great. I met Emma on my first night and she remembered me when my family came for a late cocktail on our final night. This is the best hotel in the city!

I want to say a big thank you to the staff at the Four Seasons Hotel. The place is amazing, beautiful, spotless and truly a next level hotel. What made this particular Hotel experience unique was the staff! From the moment I arrived the gentlemen who greeted me and opened the door had a huge smile expressing warmth on a chilly morning. Then Alex at reception, took time to explain helpful information including the history of the establishment. We also chatted about our families and casual stuff that typically no one has time for. The restaurant was great, the food was good and the service was top notch. I was impressed by the waiters who were so friendly and authentic. That evening (Saturday night) we went to the bar. It was packed, a full house but we were lucky to get a place at the bar. The bartender, Ayrton, was the nicest, most friendly person. It was a joy to watch him work so seamlessly, mixing drinks, working efficiently and flawlessly. Very skilled, so much respect! He was really helpful in guiding us newbs through the beverage and food menu. We had some good laughs and conversations, and it was great! Time well spent for sure! A room with the softest bed, lots of water, and soundproof makes for a night full of epic dreams! It was a special occasion and one of the reasons we came here was the spa, pool and hot tub and we were not disappointed. The spa receptions Djanel was so helpful and clear with her communication. The RMT’s Ed and Theoren were next level. Their communication and professionalism were outstanding. The small nonverbal and verbal gestures were surprising because I haven’t experienced that level of awareness in a long time. They are very skilled professionals, intelligent, insightful people. I was blown away! It’s an experience I don’t feel I’ve ever had the likes of in my life.  I felt I was in a different dimension when I walked out of the spa, I couldn’t open my locker and the spa attendant Reza didn’t make me feel silly or that I was wasting his time. He told me to have a seat and relax, and within a few minutes, he had it all sorted out, with a smile and beautiful energy. We chatted for a bit it was a unique experience! To summarize, this is a nice fantasy, beautiful building, but that’s not what makes this place special. It’s the epic, beautiful, intelligent, kind, hardworking people who put their heart and soul into what they do so we can have a special life experience! This is what makes this place exceptional!

Wonderful one day business trip. Dilraj at the front desk was so accommodating when I checked in a couple hours early. I regularly stay at Four Seasons for business and she upgraded me to a one bedroom - even for less than 24 hours it was perfect “office” for a day. Many thanks Four Seasons is the best!

I stayed at the 4 Seasons Toronto for a girls weekend to see SIX and it was a solid experience. While further from the Theatre district, its location in Yorkville was lovely for strolling, shopping and dining. The service at the hotel was exceptional, as many other reviewers have pointed out. My main rating of 4 instead of 5 is based on the overall tired look of the hotel. The lobby area was an uninviting maze of sterile corridors and wood panels and the rooms were tired. At this high price point, I expected to be completely blown away and I wasn't. Our two rooms were not available when we arrived, which is fine as we were there around lunch, but our matinee show made getting ready a bit rushed when we finally received the keys. The rooms were on the same floor but not connected, so we were constantly walking back and forth when getting ready and hanging out at the end of the night. The breakfast was good but over priced at the Cafe Bouloud, and the lobby store did not have the 4 Seasons stuffed toy for purchase to bring home to kids. While the staff were all wonderful to interact with, the hotel itself was underwhelming for the price point.

During our recent stay at the Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto, my wife and I encountered several issues that significantly diminished our experience, leading me to rate it a mere 3 out of 10. This was a stark contrast to our previously enjoyable stays at Four Seasons properties in Hong Kong, Orlando, and Boston. The room's aesthetics were as expected from Four Seasons, but we were let down by the technology. The in-room tablet was not only slow but dysfunctional, making it impossible to order room service through it. We had to resort to using the phone, a minor inconvenience but notable in a luxury setting. Additionally, the TV failed to offer personal streaming service integration, a feature we've seen in even 'lower tiered' Marriott and Hilton hotels. More embarrassingly, parts of the TV content displayed "Lorem Ipsum" text, a glaring oversight that seemed out of place in such a prestigious hotel. Cleanliness was another concern. Discovering a party bracelet behind the nightstand suggested the room hadn't been thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival. Though the hotel offered a small apology gift, it didn't fully mitigate our discomfort regarding the cleanliness standards. One of the most distressing aspects of our stay involved an incident with the valet staff. Midway through our stay, I received a series of text messages from the valet service, erroneously stating that we had checked out of the hotel. This was particularly alarming as we had several days remaining in our reservation. Concerned about the security of our belongings and the potential confusion over our room, we were forced to abruptly alter our plans and return to the hotel to address this error. The situation, caused by a miscommunication within the hotel staff, resulted in unnecessary stress and confusion, further detracting from our overall experience. Regarding the included breakfast as part of our American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts (FHR) membership, the quality was disappointingly subpar. We chose to eat outside the hotel for most of our stay, which felt like a waste of the premium we paid for the breakfast credits. The room service meal we tried was also lackluster, failing to meet the high culinary standards we expected from Four Seasons. In conclusion, if this experience had been at a lower-tiered hotel, it might have been acceptable. However, this is the Four Seasons, a brand where we've come to expect nothing but excellence. The combination of malfunctioning in-room technology, subpar dining options, administrative errors, cleanliness issues, and the unprofessional presentation of TV content led to a lackluster and subpar experience. This level of service and attention to detail is not what we expect from a hotel of Four Seasons' reputation, particularly when considering the additional cost and benefits associated with booking through the American Express FHR program.

Excellent staff and a great location in Yorkville for shopping and dining. Excellent amenities like the gym and the spa, and great staff at d|bar (in particular Lauren) and the breakfast staff at Boulud. Decent wifi for business purposes and an excellent experience overall. My deluxe suite was spacious and had all of the amenities I needed, including a garment steamer which was a great addition as I hate using irons on my clothing as it ruins the fabric.

We stayed at the 4S Toronto for 3 nights. From arrival to departure, everything was just super. Staff were friendly, responsive and genuine. Food and Drink was first rate in bar and restaurant. Assistant Manager made it a point to introduce herself, and we were impressed the next day that she remembered our name. Thanks for another memorable experience!

We had 2 rooms for a party of 6. Checked out Toronto for a few days after visiting the spectacular Niagara Falls. Good location, solid dining, well appointed rooms, efficient valet and good service throughout, including concierge and “security”. Never thought I would say that in a hotel review. A family member dropped and broke a glass cup by the bathroom sink and suffered a pretty serious cut on her finger. The bleeding wouldn’t stop and so we were debating going to a hospital for stitches. However, “security” came up quickly and helped stop the bleeding and cleaned the wound and bandaged it up. They also followed it up for the next couple of days to make sure the finger was holding up well. Thank you
