I've stayed here a number of times, and the experience has been predictably good. Positives: - large rooms - Nearby restaurants, - the Royal Ontario Museum - near the University of Toronto - good pool for swimming lengths - good (but pricey) martinis in the bar - generally quiet rooms - bathrobes - large flat-screen TV - soaker tub and... Stayed for the weekend. Right across the street from the ROM and walking distance to mega shopping. Very comfortable, clean and relaxing. Great lap pool and gym on the 8th floor. Easy access to subway lines. Pay per use for wi-fi is a rip off. Didn't think hotels did that any more. Parking is in the municipal lot in back... More

Have stayed here a few times and always found the rooms comfortable. Attended the on-site restaurant for private events and for breakfast and found the service, food and setting to be perfect. The location of this hotel is ideal for shopping and site seeing. Bonus... Across the street from the ROM and on the subway line. One complaint - wifi... More

I always stay at this Intercontinental when I am in Toronto on business. The location is great, it close to my head office for meetings and it's close to great restaurants and shopping when I'm not. The staff are great - helpful and friendly. More

Absolutely always enjoy our stay at the Intercontinental (Yorkville). We just returned from another relaxing weekend there. Because my spouse is a VIP member, we are always up-graded to a suite on the 8th floor. The rooms are nicely decorated and the king size bed is fabulous and comfy! Bathrobes and slippers, luxurious towels and bath sheets, lots of glasses,... More

Just got back from a week working in Toronto, where I stayed at the Intercontinental on Bloor Street West. Don't have a strong view on the value for money , as my company paid for the stay! My double room cost about £200 (C$300) per night for bed and breakfast - slightly less at the weekend. The main room was... More

We've stayed at this hotel at least ten times in recent years. It is small -- not at all like most Intercontinental hotels -- and quite intimate for a Chicago-sized city like Toronto. The staff is helpful and pleasant and the Concierge knows every restaurant in the area. This knowledge is important because Yorkville is Toronto's shopping-eating center. The hotel... More

Dear FrancisMcInerney, It was a pleasure to read your compliments of our service and hotel facilities! You are absolutely right in mentioning what sets us apart from other hotels - our attention to each individual guest, intimacy feeling and a unique boutique hotel service that is rather hard to find in a busy, bustling city like Toronto. We pride in... More

this hotel is very nice, perfectly located in an attractive part of the city but what really distinguishes this place is the service. I have seldom been to a hotel where the services is so consistently exceptional. EVERYONE I met at the hotel from check in to the doorman who helped me with the bags when I left the hotel... More

Really wanted to give this one a "four" staying with family on a 4 night "staycation" for shopping, theatre and movies. Hotel was refurbished within the past half-decade. Nicely appointed. Nice sized bathroom but not the best shower head/pressure. Stayed in a 2 queen-bed room but room didn't appear to be originally designed for it. TV off to the side... More
