Really wanted to give this one a "four" staying with family on a 4 night "staycation" for shopping, theatre and movies. Hotel was refurbished within the past half-decade. Nicely appointed. Nice sized bathroom but not the best shower head/pressure. Stayed in a 2 queen-bed room but room didn't appear to be originally designed for it. TV off to the side... More

We have just spent three nights at the Intercontinental on Bloor Street. When we booked, we could have spent another £70 more to stay at the Park Hyatt - which we should definitely have done so. The Park Hyatt looks and has the feel of a 5 star hotel (and has a great rooftop bar) - this hotel is tired... More

I stayed at this hotel in April 2010 and never got around to reviewing it so I'll give my two cents now before the memory is all gone. This would be the most upscale place that I've stayed in and I was not disappointed. The hotel is in a quite upscale neighbourhood in Toronto and is pretty much across the... More

We stayed there for business in early December. The hotel was standard fare. Fairly cold front desk staff, a little too over eager bell boy -possibly going after tips in a mega expensive city?- with a terrible bar service a few quite arrogant service staff. Some of the bar's employees were definitely more concerned with checking themselves in the mirror... More

This hotel was conveniently located across the street from my wedding venue. I contacted them to block some rooms for my guests. They do not have the word NO is their vocabulary. I had a tour months before of the hotel and my guests ended up occupying over 20 rooms (some suites). Now my ceremony started at 3:00pm so most... More

Stayed 3 nights. Very good location. Walking distance to shops at Yorkville. Very friendly staff. Restaurant was very nice. Very good service. I ate breakfast and dinner once. Rooms are large with king size bed. Bar lounge was comfortable. My only regret was that they didn't offer a buffet breakfast. I did not try the room service. The TV was... More

I was on a short vacation with my 80 year old Mother and we both had a wonderful stay at the Intercontinental Yorkville. The location was absolutely ideal. The ROM is right across the street and you can also catch the hop on hop off tour buss there too, and Yorkville shops and restaurants are right around the corner. It... More
