This place should not be classified as a hostel. It is a flop house for long-term skid row locals.Rodent and insect infested, this place is is a terrible state of repair throughout. The columns on the front porch that support the 2nd floor balcony are buckling and penetrating the floor above. It looks like the balcony is about to crumble... More

The price was reasonable & the owner was very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom was shared but clean and comfortable. Everything was within walking distance or on a streetcar route Coffee and donuts served every morning I would stay there again if I am in Toronto.

Ok i see bad reviews and think, well these people just don't understand a budget hostel. Well this place is falling apart, with trash strewn in the hall ways and the toilet hasn't been cleaned in days. All thats missing are the 20 cats.
