My boyfriend and I only stayed here one night, but I'd still recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere cheap and stylish to stay in Toronto. We arrived really early after a night train and although check-in wasn't until the afternoon, they stil gave us a great welcome and after stowing our bags for us, gave us free run of... More

I stayed in this hostel with a friend for two days. I found it clean, well run, and friendly. The location is great (in the eclectic Kensington Market) with tons of dining choices. Free Breakfast in the Morning (Twenty types of cereal, bagels, bananas). The rooftop patio has a great view of the city. Highly recommended

I stayed here with my wife and daughter in the private room. The rooms were quite bare but good value for money, clean and secure. Unfortunately the bathroom was shared. There's a free breakfast buffet each morning which is quite good, and helpful staff who showed us where to see all the great sights of Toronto.

Although it is not located in the CBD, it is in a fantastic location being surrounded by Kensington Market, Chinatown, Little Italy and close to the University. A short 3min walk takes you to a street cart that will get you into the city in Minutes. The Hostel has very friendly staff, and is extremely modern and clean. Free wifi,... More

I stayed here with 2 friends back in March and we had a blast! The staff was very friendly. We met the owner who was also very friendly. There was free dinner on Saturday evening and free breakfast everyday. We met some cool people staying there as well. There was a great view of Toronto from the balcony on the... More

Overall this is a nice hostel but there are a couple of bad points too. Good: Clean and secure. Excellent breakfast of various bagels, toast, jams, cereals, bananas, tea and coffee (served until 1pm!) Good common area with TV, Macs, good wifi throughout hostel. Nice rooftop bar with views of city. Friendly, helpful staff. Bad: Our private room consisted of... More

Everything was lovely and clean and the breakfasts plentiful. There has obviously been some thought given to the room layout (I was in a 5 bed dorm) with the ensuite bathroom and separate entryway for the lockers however it was a bit tight with everyone's suitcases/packs, but we got there :). I believe I was fortunate as I was placed... More

I was somehow worried because, after travelling a lot, this was the first time I went in a hostel, and all by myself. My experience there was very positive. Each room has 6 beds and one washroom (which include a shower). Everything looked clean enough, though, and this is really important to me. Everybody in the hostel is really friendly,... More

This is a very clean hostel that rivals facilities of many hotels in the area and is a very affordable alternative when visiting Toronto. The staff are a mixture of young international college-aged people that make a great effort to talk to guests and manage a mid-size hostel (about 200 beds); the owner/manager also stops by for breakfast on some...
