“Great location great view”

Very clean rooms and friendly staff. I now stay here everytime I travel to Windsor. They have competitive rates for construction crews and long term stays. Ask for the north view of Detroit. It is pretty stunning. Small indoor pool.

they sneak in a parking charge in an unlit lot used for all the local businesses, the breakfast is extra, the internet is handled thru a long distance company, data valet, and if it doesn't work you get to call their 800 number and wait

The Travelodge had things going for it and against it; on balance, I decided it was just about adequate, considering the price. The location, directly on the river is about a 5 minute walk to Caesars Casino Windsor, with nice view of Detroit. This is an old property, best said, tear it down and start over. The rooms are small with low ceilings. The furniture is beat up, mattresses uncomfortable.
