Booked a few nights here again in February, excellent location and service as before. Positives Location, new property, beds of course, and the great staff Con's Valet parking only if cost is a concern, also no longer any service in the club lounge - If you have starwood status they now provide an appy in the evening and breakfast in... I just stayed here for a client meeting in February 2012, and have probably logged about 5 stays here over the past 2 years. I'm always delighted to learn that this hotel has been booked for these meetings. I was running a small workshop within a larger national conference and found the support of the meeting and banquet staff to... More

Stayed here for business in February 2012. I loved the location within walking distance of Old Montreal. The front desk staff was pleasant and efficient. I found the overall decor and layout of the hotel and my room to be stylish, clean and new. I'm not sure if Le Westin Montreal is a new hotel or recently renovated but it... More

Bonjour J_M_S_Toronto ! Le Westin will be 3 years old in May 2012. It was built in former Montreal Gazette newspaper building, to which a 22-storey brand new tower was added. I am delighted to read that the personnel efficiency and the rooms comfort have convinced you to come back and can only hope it will be very soon! Au... More

I love staying at the Westin in Montreal-- the location is great for business as it is close to the business center of the city, but also right on the edge of Old Montreal. Check in is always smooth and efficient and I appreciate the express checkout and email invoice. Rooms are clean and large and the Heavenly beds live... More

Bonjour TeeceeTO and thank you for reviewing Le Westin online. I personally think that the first sentence was saying it all, but then one could say I am biased! Sincerely, it is great to read that it is a perfect mix of both our installations and the service level that make you come back and back, and I hope to... More

Westin Hotels are reliably awesome and this one has not disappointed. I have stayed here twice, some things which stand out are the location close to Old Town, Chinatown. The pool/gym area is a must visit. The pool really is over the entrance driveway and you can really look thru the bottom of the pool at people and cars-they have... More

We loved this hotel. Fabulous location right between Old Montreal and the main city. The hotel is beautiful and clean. Very comfy beds, and great internet service. We would definitely return. More

When I was there, the hotel was practically brand new - the pool and gym weren't even finished yet! Needless to say, our room was BEAUTIFUL! We actually booked this hotel last-minute after checking out of a very disappointing hotel that we had originally booked. The 3 of us stayed in a large room with a King sized bed -... More

Dear Shelly N, thank you so much for sharing your comments on TripAdvisor. Opening a hotel is quite an adventure, and everyone that was implicated back then will really much appreciate your good words. Of course, the pool and gym have both been completed since then, and it would be high time for you to come and experience them! I... More

Located across from the convention center you would at first thought think- oh man nothing good to eat around here. Well that is a true statement until you set out up the hill a bit walking and you stumble into various parts of Old Monteal that are really breathtaking at night. Granted it was snowing, some holiday decor was still... More

Dear spgISLANDtraveler, I am sincerely thankful for your positive review of Le Westin. Montreal is different than most North American cities in that its downtown area is inhabited by quite a lot of people, making it lively by night just as much as by day. Some of the best tables in town are located within a 10 minute walk and,... More

I don't care for Canada. It's cold, hard to get to on a direct flight, customs is a hassle and everything seems dated like it's in some sort of time warp. I especially don't like Montreal and Quebec in general. The horrible weather, tacky pseudo-Euro fashions and snotty secession attitude of the French speakers here turn me off. Unfortunately, I... We have stayed in quite a few hotels while travelling and I have always wanted to stay in The Westin, so we finally did. Luckily, our stay was free due to rewards points. Dear livelaughandtravel (what a nice nickname, by the way!), thank you for taking some time to review your Westin stay online. A spa was originally in mind when the hotel was conceived only a few years ago, but by the time the hotel was built, so many great options had opened in Old Montreal that we decided to concentrate our...
