We stayed here for 3 nights. The location of this hostel is perfect. The neighbourhood is full of bars, cafes, pubs, restaurants and things to do. A short walk to the transit station too. Welcoming atmosphere, the receptionist and staff were very friendly. They answered all of our questions, they also spoke in Spanish as my English and french are not stellar. This is a nice, normal hostel in a hip neighborhood of Montreal. It is near many restaurants and shops, and parking on the street (at least, in May) was not a problem. Breakfast is essentially only bread and jam, but there are some nice bakeries nearby.
