Our house dates back to 1880 and it was the home of the Saint Louis family. Mr. St. Louis and his associates oversaw the construction of the houses on the Square. We are conveniently located in the 'Plateau' district (between St-Denis and Boulevard St-Laurent), from where you will find a multitude of points of interest on foot: Old Montreal and the Old Port; the mountain and its Mount Royal park; the Jazz Festival, the Just for Laughs festival and the Nuits d'Afrique festival; a variety of museums; McGill University and the University of Quebec at Montreal; as well as many of the best restaurants in the city. The bus and metro (Sherbrooke station) are within walking distance by the park. As an alternative, you may bring or rent a bicycle. Car parking is free in front of the house.Enjoy a good breakfast in our authentically Victorian dining room. Our rooms all have hardwood floors, Persian carpets and views of our garden or the park just in front. You will enjoy comfortable beds and hospitality on a personal and small-scale basis: we are neither a commercial style "hostel" nor a hotel. Murphy and Oswald are here to greet cat lovers. Gardening and cycling enthusiasts will enjoy staying with us.
