We just returned from two nights at the charming Au Petit Roi, and were very happy with our experience. We stayed in the Royal Suite, which was comfortable and full of character. It was exactly as pictured in the photos on their website. The en suite bathroom was spacious and clean (as was the entire suite) and the bed was... More

First off -The day before I left I sent a confirmation email confirming our arrival and received no reponse. When we got there, my husband and I stood at the front door for 3 minutes after ringing the bell wondering if any one was home - anddiscussing where else we could find a place with no notice. Finally, the hostess... More

I joined my husband who was at a conference that happened to be scheduled at the same time of the Quebec City summer festival. We stayed at Au Petit Roi and had an amazing time in Quebec. The hosts were so kind, friendly, great hospitality, and gave great advice about restaurants and things to do in the area. One block... More

My friend and I stayed for four nights. We had a shared bath and room in the back of the house on the third floor. The bed was very comfortable and the room was always nice and clean. The bath was always available when we needed it and the shower had lots of hot water and good pressure. The host... More

We really loved this b&b. We had the downstairs bedroom with the private bath. It was clean, spacious (living area next to the bedroom area) and quiet. The room included a coffee maker, fridge, small table, microwave, cups, saucers, wine glasses, and a remote controlled air conditioner in the bedroom area. Oh, and a small wide screen television. I loved staying at this B & B. Our hosts were most gracious and helpful. The rooms and the common areas were cozy, clean and I felt like a special guest in their home. The breakfast was delicious, healthy and fulfilling. Location was a big plus since it is close to one of the stone gates to the old city.... More

We found out the day before we travelled that our Royal Suite was double booked for the last night of our stay and we had to move to a 3rd floor room without ensuite, although the rate was discounted $10. The rates on the website are not up to date so make sure you are charged the lower rate. The... More

I booked 6 weeks in advance going by the reviews on trip advisor. The hostess however double booked us, although the people who actually got our room did not have written confirmation. We only found out the day before as I phoned up to let her know what time we were due to arrive. We had a last minute search... More

I stayed at Au Petit Roi for two nights and would definitely recommend it to everyone. Room was quite big, comfortable and clean. We shared bathroom with other guests, but that was no problem at all - in fact I didn't bump into anyone. Our hostess was very charming and helpful person - she made us feel comfortable and helped... My husband and I stayed here for two nights, June 19 & 20. Loved it. The B&B is on a quiet street, steps away from Rue Saint-Jean, which leads to everything in Vieux Quebec. We had a room on the third floor that was lovely. Breakfasts were yummy and filling with a Moroccan flair. The hostess, Pricilla, is very friendly... More
