Lovely bed and breakfast, all the staff were warm, welcoming and accommodating, especially Sylvie and Deborah, they went above and beyond! We were two couples and requested rooms facing out the back. We had rooms #5 and #6, both nicely decorated, beds comfortable and quieter than front street rooms. Shower in room #6 a bit small. Everything very clean and... More

As eviter! Chambre #4 est extrement bruyante venant de la route. Ligne d'attente du traversier est situe sous la fenetre! We pay much too much for what it is worth. Small rooms and extremely noisy. On main hyw letting to the ferry.

This is a small, charming B&B; our room was quite small but very nicely furnished and decorated. There is a lovely lawn sloping down to a lake to the rear of the property. What made our two-night stay here so memorable was the warm, personal attention we received from the staff. Clare was most helpful in booking our cruise. Sylvie... More

We arrived to very warm, kind service and have nothing but wonderful things to say about everyone who worked there. The room was cozy and clean; it felt like staying the weekend at my grandmother's house! The property was well-maintained and the included breakfast was perfect--a little bit of everything (e.g. yogurt, French toast, eggs, bacon, cereal, fruit, croissant, and... More

I had contacted Slyvie many times before we arrived and she was really helpful in giving us info on the local area and also booking our whale watching trip (securing 10% discount through the hotel). The accommodation was really lovely. We occupied 2 rooms, the small house and one in the main building at the back (think it was room... More

We booked this place for a night after seeing great reviews on Tripadvisor, but our stay turned out to be a disappointment. Positives first: everyone working at this establishment is genuinely nice – just a wonderful bunch of hosts. Their generosity extends to offering free kayaks on a pond behind the property and bicycles. We enjoyed our peaceful paddle. The... More

The big hotel chains should send their managers to the Auberge Maison Gagne to see just how customers like to be treated, the enthusiasm of the hotel staff was fantastic. From the moment we arrived for our 2 night stay until our departure we could not have asked for more. We were in room 4 which is the room on... More

We were here on part of an Inntravel holiday so can't comment on individual prices. We found the staff extremely friendly and helpful, we did not have a room in the main building, but a small 'bungalow' in the grounds, which was perfect, coffee making and fridge and microwave available. Small shower room with the washbasin in the bedroom. Large... More

On the main road down to the ferry and across it from the rest of the town, but still quiet. Friendly and pleasant. Decent room. Incredibly varied breakfast. A bit strange to call it an auberge when it doesn't provide dinner, but that wasn't a problem. We had booked through Inntravel on a self-drive holiday through Quebec, so we aren't... More

My husband and I stayed 2 nights, first in 11 - A small separate house in the back that was so romantic and lovely. It has an electric fireplace, bar fridge and microwave. Cozy and charming. The innkeeper and her staff were all delightful. We were able to stay over if we changed rooms and did to the one under... More
