Me and my partner stayed here overnight, we received a warm welcome and was shown to our room by the landlord. The rooms are converted from an old stable and have some nice features such as exposed stonework. This pub has good food, good real ales, spirits and soft drinks are very over priced and you have to ask for lemon( which the landlord looks like he is constantly sucking on with his ridiculous facial expressions!!!) This is simply a review of The Royal Oak as a pub. All I can say is: you must visit this place on a Tuesday or Friday and have the fish and chips. You will not be disappointed. They're the best i've ever had! The staff are lovely and the setting is beautiful. Highly recommended!

The system does not allow me to say when my last stay was (early 2009) but from 2006 through to late 2008 I stayed on a regular basis at the Royal Oak, Dunsford, on average about 10 nights a month.
