Railei Beach Club rocks!!! The people are very nice and the accommodations were clean and simple. GREAT place and beautiful beach and cliffs surround the property. Be sure to have groceries delivered as the restaurant options are slim. I highly recommend staying here.

My Husband and I stayed the Railay beach club in mid June. Our room was clubhouse moon room which was ideal. It's not somewhere you'd go if you want western comforts. It's a small wooden chalet type building with wooden shutters for windows and a semi outdoor shower. The bed was very comfortable and room was kept immaculate. There were... More

I can only reiterate what others have said before me...my wife and I stayed at RBC with another couple and we all fell in love. You could not ask for a more secluded stayed. The houses are rustic, well built and each unique. We stayed in house 6a and 6b. There is no ac but plenty of fans. The home... More

We stayed at the RBC in June 2013 and had a great time. The entire club resort has the best view of the West beach at Railey. Very efficient booking, extremely comfortable car and boat ride to and fro. We had House #28 which is at the furthest end. A lovely villa with an open air bathroom area right next... More

We stayed at railei beach club with another couple for 4 nights in Baan Ling #14. loved the House itself really cool place to stay, so quiet, secluded and really close to nature, the views from the house are great, gorgeous cliffs behind the houses. The only downfall is there is no airconditioning, which would make the stay just that... More

We loved Railei Beach Club during our three night stay, but we didn't like Railay as a location :( Railei Beach Club had lovely traditional Thai style house (we stayed in bahn 28), it was exactly how it appears on their website. We enjoyed watching tuk gere geckos and bugs etc on our balcony and relaxing there in the quiet... More

We travelled in a large group from UK, US and South Africa (aged 30-40) and hired various houses including the fantastic House 3 on the beach front. We found Railay Beach suitable for singles, couples and the families which small children in our group. Caroline and the other staff are very efficient and helpful. We used the swimming pool at... My family and I spent 3 nights in one of the houses near to the beach and we had a wonderful time. RBC is certainly not your typical resort, it houses are styled traditionally, lotsa wood, simple but tasteful decoration, and (at least for my house), modern shower and toilet facilities. This is NOT your LUXURY accomodation: no jacuzzis, no... More

We stayed at RBC in house #10 during late March. The good: - house was as expected and the web site represents the houses accurately - houses well-maintained and cleaned every day - on the beach - staff very helpful, had good recommendations for outings - amazing sunsets and happy hour - reasonable prices on sundries, wine, beer, cocktails -... We stayed at RBC baan 10 Marcia. It is one of the smaller ones and suited our family well. it was beautifully decorated and very well presented and cleaned throughout our stay. Railay West is lovely, but Railay East was a striking contrast - dirty, smelly and seedy. Staying at RBC you avoid the busier end of Railay west which... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Railei Beach Club is a community of privately owned homes which may be rented when the owners are not in residence. Each house shares traditional Thai design elements but has its own characteristics. Our homes are completely open to the surrounding natural elements and all rooms have fans. Each house has a kitchen with either a refrigerator or ice-cooler, open deck space, gardens, and beautiful views. There are two rooms available to rent in the Club House area and 21 houses, ranging from one to four bedrooms, sleeping two to eight people. Some houses have private guest wings, without cooking facilities, which are also available to rent. All of the houses have open-air fan rooms, and only 4 properties have air-con in the bedrooms. There is a strict maximum occupancy of eight people per house, and a requested three night minimum stay. During the Peak Season (December and January) we request a 7-night minimum stay. Year round, we enforce a quiet time after 11pm. We ask our guests to respectfully observe this request by no loud music or voices after this time. Please come enjoy, relax and experience the natural beauty and wildlife here at Railei Beach Club. ... more   less
