Just returned from a 3 day break at the hotel which is set in lovely grounds. We were upgraded to a small suite which was a nice size, but the whole of our stay there was uncomfortable due the room being very hot and stuffy, we turned all the rads down only for the cleaner to turn them back up... We stayed here in October 2011 for one night as we were taking the kids to Bewilderwood the following day. Not a great choice. We ate in the adjacent bistro which was ok (if very quiet) but the pizza's were really poor. £11 for something that looked it had come out of the freezer department of Iceland. I don't know how hotels can get away with this kind of food when there marketed as something more than a travel inn... More
