We arrived in Barreal and found this beautiful place. It's just great. The host is Adele and she is supported by Carlos. Very nice people. The place is clean and calm with a grand view to the mountains.

First, we must note that, as English-speakers, we think of La Querencia as being in BARREAL, which is a little village in the "district" or "region" of Cuyo. stayed 3 nights. Great town, still quite undiscovered, amazing setting. Hotel looks full on to main snow-capped Andes, with mountain-facing great pool. Very quiet, horses in fields, walk out on pueblo sand roads. Very good staff. Great breakfasts, best in Argentina, non-sweet local yoghurt, fresh juices, scrambled eggs. Spend the 10% extra to get a main-Andes-facing (cordillera-facing) room.

Staying in this homey posada is a treat. The owners are very friendly and have eyes for all details. Rooms all have a fireplace and are very clean and comfortable. The highlights are the view on the Andes and the best breakfast ever!

This is absolutely fantastic place! One of the best, if not the best in our three months visit to Argentina.
