Stayed for 3 nights over the May bank holiday. The staff were lovely and both the room and food were excellent. The only drawback is the noise. The pub has a vocalist singing on a Friday night that finishes about 1 am but it takes until 2:30am for the pub to empty and the noise to settle. The Saturday night... More

The room was very small as reviewed by someone else but had everything you need, was lovely and clean, the bed was very comfy and a lovely fresh , clean shower room. It was very busy with lots... by far the worse hotel i have stayed in:stairs and corriders leading to bedrooms was dirty, dusty and had 'nt seen a vacumn in weeks. Breakfast very poor :- stale cereal, sour milk, water to make the tea was stored in a flask and was barley warm. When we asked for some hot water the flask was filled from a kettle... More

Ceral tubs only have 4/5 servings so there are fresh, we will check the corridor vacuum, the breakfast products are source locally from our butcher, the milk was sour well why did you not point this out to the staff, the hot water is kept in a flask to keep it hot. I find your comments surprising as thier are... More

A nice quaint place to stay. Need to ask where to park which is at the back but it is free. Friendly family run place and the locals are entertaining. The room was nice and clean although the shower ceiling needed plastering. Walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbors! We did have 1 meal there which was... More

The rooms are small but well appointed and clean. I cannot give it 5 stars as the first night we stayed there was entertainment and music in the bar which continued until well after midnight making it impossible to sleep. The second night was quiet. The room walls are thin so you can hear everything your neighbour is up to... More

We stayed three nights just after New Year. Disappointed in the service provided, we were overcharged for an evening meal and given a wrong drink which the waitress protested was our fault, and was even overheard complaining about us to the staff in the kitchen....very unprofessional! The breakfast was adequate, though not much choice if you didn't want a full... More

What a fantastic place. We stayed there for 3 nights in December 2012. The bar and food area was festively decorated and had a cosy and welcoming feel to it with a real fire. The food was very good and the staff very helpful and friendly, in fact I would go as far as to say they can't do enough... More

We went to The Coach House Inn in Bentham for the weekend and had a lovely time. It is only a small pub/restaurant with 4 rooms but it is very pleasant and the proprietors are very welcoming and pleasant. We had a very relaxed time and travelled to various places in the vicinity. We stayed here for 2 nights (Thu and Fri) early November as part of a KGB deal. Staff were pleasant, helpful and enthusiastic. Breakfast was freshly made-to-order. We had dinner both nights - it was quiet on Thursday and came to life on Friday. Food was well prepared, well presented and tasty - somewhere between pub grub and bistro. Food prices... More

I stayed here for five nights for a diving course at nearbye Capernwray Diving Centre. I made selection based on reviews on TA, and was offered a reduced rate for a 5 night stay. Well situated on main road and quiet (in November during week). No private parking, you have to use public car park behind hotel, but need to... More
