I booked 10 rooms for 2 nights as part of my wedding group staying at the hotel. As is standard with Travelodge, we got clean spacious rooms for a decent price. Some rooms were absolutely huge and pleasant. There is a general dark feel to the hotel but you don’t expect more from a Travelodge with respect. You get exactly... More

We chose Travelodge M4 Eastbound for two main reasons - its location and the price. As we knew we wouldn't be arriving until about midnight and would be leaving early the next morning we were not too worried about the hotel being somewhat basic and in need of maintenance in places. All we needed was a bed for the night.... More

This much maligned Travelodge is in fact much better than the reviews would suggest. The reception area is indeed treadbare as is much of the carpet in corridors but within the rooms the carpets are fine. It was clean, the rooms were cosy and warm at a time of sub zero temperatures outside, and the shower worked fine. We had... More

Even the fleas walk around in pairs !!!! Judging by my itchy leg, yes indeed they do? But it may just be me. Opening the door we turned on the lights, the lights were there but they certainly weren't going on. it was a big room but the distance between you and the TV requires binoculars as its so small.... I stayed here for one night whilst visiting relatives. We were greeted at reception. Check in was no problem. Staff were friendly and polite. Decor was a bit tired and obviously needed an uplift. My room was clean and tidy. Had the basics; telly, bed, tea/coffee facilities, shower, toilet and heating. Again room needed an uplift. The bedding was clean.... More

Traveling to Heathrow for an early morning flight ,we thought it would be a great place to break our trip. Checked in went to the service station for snacks and settled for the night. Only 2 pillows so asked for more no problem delivered to our room . Slept fine checked out the following morning. It was all we wanted... More

I was left with little alternative but to stay here due to bad weather but think I would have been better off in the local boarding kennels.Reminiscent of Fawlty Towers on a bad day minus the humour.Reception area&lobby tatty, smelly&in need of a total revamp&that is before you even get to your room! Inadequate bedding, nothing but a doll's house piece of... More

Stayed 1 night while away with work, turned up quite late and managed to get booked in quickly. Car park is large which is a bonus and hotel clean and tidy. Facilities and rooms basic to be expected but all in all a good night sleep and good value. Staff friendly and pointed out a good resturant.

I've had bad experiences with Travelodge in the past and avoided them for years. With all the competition these days (Ibis, Premier Inn) they'll have improved, right? Wrong! Three good things: a pleasant and courteous welcome, clean bedlinen and a clean toilet/basin. But... Terrible state of disrepair - reception and lobby are shocking, with a holey carpet covered in patches... More
