Bought a deal online for a night away with my partner as we have both been working everyday for the past month or so. Arrived on time to an unfriendly receptionist who gave us our key to a twin room claiming they had no doubles left ( I had booked months in advance) They also had no note of my... More

Stayed earlier this week for one night on a "deal". A little apprehensive to be honest. However good check in and the room was very clean and everything was there apart from shampoo and not keen on the push soap if I am honest. Good scones, very good meal although starter portion was too big - good complaint, wine good.... More

We stayed for weekend. Fri night we loved it. Meal was best ever tasted and headed down to bar bit after. One minute was a quite pub and next loud, dj, loads youngsters and dancefloor. Had great laugh but next night stayed in room and what a nightmarr. Same was happening downstairs as night before and the noise vibrated thru... More

This is a small hotel we booked on a deal. The rooms were a good size but when we went to get ready at night time there was not hot water. Someone came from reception and we were told kids had probably left the water running in toilets downstairs - we asked to move rooms but were told none were... More

After paying for the room the receptionist told me not to expect any sleep tonight as there is a disco on-she wasn't joking!! Music coming through every wall, drunks on the street shouting and children running up and down the corridor thumping the doors!! Waitress at dinner was rude and had a terrible attitude, the simple "classic burger" was horrible!!... More

We stayed here for our 17th wedding anniversary and were in 2 minds about it because of some of the reviews and it was on a busy main road. However, we were pleasantly surprised once we arrived there; the staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was clean and nicely decorated. We stayed in Room 9 which I felt... More

Arrived after booking the night before at the Coachman. Nice clean room although layout could be better and a bit of a squeeze in places, the room was as clean as it could be and was very modern and had all features you expect. The only downside was the shower taking a while to get hot and the soap dispensers... More
