Very nice hotel in a wooded setting, the rooms were large and very clean, the lady at the front desk was so helpful and their "free" breakfast was one of the best I have seen..they even have freshly made pancakes and sausage..the location was great, we walked to heavenly village and to harrah's casino. Rooms are clean, staff was helpfull and the breakfast was normal. The casinos were walking distance and Star Bucks was accross the street!. More

This not a typical HI Express....like many of the South Lake Tahoe properties, this is an old motel variety facility that HI has renovated. Rooms were clean but smaller than a normal HI Express. We absolutely loved this place! It was very clean and roomy, and the staff was excellent. We walked down the street and had dinner at the Harvey's buffet, which was absolutely incredible! We will definitely stay here again the next time we're in Tahoe. More
