“It made the rainy days better.”

We were at South Lake Tahoe in second week of May, 2013. Even with nothing really to do there but hike, because most of the summer outdoor activities are closed till end of May. The Americana Village staffs were very pleasant and helpful. They had guided us to some local hiking trails not listed on the usual hiking trail maps.... More

“Great place for families”

We had stayed at the Horizon resorts a few weeks before and I was determined never to go there again and find a better place. And with Americana Village, we found the perfect location for our stay. We were going to stay at the Marriot in Lake Tahoe; however, they wouldn't allow us to check in until 4:00 pm and we had a tired 2 year old who needed a nap. The deluxe rooms were incredibly nice and well stocked. Two hi-def TV's (one for us, one for the kids) dishwasher, dishes, kitchen utensils, etc. The staff was amazing! “Pleasantly Surprised”

When I drove up I didn't expect much by the outside appearance... Once I opened the door to the room (2 bedroom) I was very impressed, the room was as nice and pleasing as the staff. A few of the rooms have not been remodeled yet, so be sure to ask.
