I stayed in room 8 for one month. It was disgusting. I placed a fifty dollar deposit and paid for one month and did not recieve back my deposit. The owners reason for not giving it back was that I didn't tell her i would be leaving after one month. -Though i signed a one month lease from the get... More

This place was unbelieveable. I booked two rooms. One family suite and one double quenn for another family. We arrived and both rooms were filthy and dumpy. The furniture was nice, but there were cobb webs all over, the bathrooms were dirty, the floors had not been clean and the heater in the family suit did not work. We always... More

We stayed one Saturday night in March for about $80.00 including tax. Cute rooms but NO amenities. No phone, fridge, toiletries except bar soap. Very little parking but she'll let you stay parked there after you ck out if its not full. Not the least bit sound proof but you cannot hear the strip. Can't beat the location for the... More

We checked in and they gave us a key to rm 6. We went to go check it out we opened the door and to our surprise it was occupied. We went back and they put us in another suite which still had the jacuzzi tub and two queens instead of one king. That wasnt much of a problem. We... More

The economy room was nice, but barely big enough for the queen bed. Easy walk to the casinos, restaurants, and remodelled tram area. $88 for 2 nites couldn't be matched, spend the saved $100 per nite at the casinos. Would definately stay again. Oh, better bring a travel iron.

I just stayed for two nights on the weekend during the "Hot August Nights" at the Lakeside because Harrahs was full.... but I wasn't disappointed. For me it was a clean room but not a vacation resort. I had my two teen daughters with me and even as picky as they can be said they liked the rustic "pine" accents... More

Pretty average overall. Nice pine furnishings. The pool however was not heated and dirty. A few hangers in the closet area would have been nice. But easy location for the casinos and the semi-private beach access was nice. Friendly, helpful proprietor.

A great value! One block from the casinos and cheap. A variety of room sizes. We took the economy. Very small but we just came there to ski and gamble. Limited parking. Nothing fancy here, just a good solid value.

The previous review is for a different property. The Tahoe Lakeside Lodge is an intimate 12-unit property with fireplaces and hot tubs in the rooms. There is no casino.

Lakeside Inn and Casino in South Lake Tahoe is not swanky but sure fits the bill. Definitely not a Harvey's or Harrah's but compared to motels in the area, it is very good. The rooms are quiet, clean, some have balcony's overlooking Edgewood golf course and a quiet neighborhood; the 3 lodging buildings are separate from the friendly casino and... More
