This is a friendly hotel, the staff were very welcoming and informative. Our room, was as described, with four poster bed, was clean and well decorated. All the usual facilities and only 10 minutes walk from the centre of York. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of it, served piping hot and freshly cooked. Would we go back?............... YES More

found hotel to be more like a hostel than hotel where u are basicly left to fend for yourself during your stay. there is no staff or night porter in hotel after 10pm till 8am which i found quiet unsafe. rooms are too small, with dead flies on window ledge. also no toileteries supplied apart from a old dirty/used bar...
