Lovely farmhouse b&b. Great food. Great location. Took us back to our roots! Very helpful and friendly landlady. Beautiful roses in our room for our anniversary. Appreciated fresh milk and room fridge.

We stayed for one pre-booked night at Hall Farm and we enjoyed staying there, very, very much! I have just spent 3 nights at Hall Farm, a very charming working sheep farm. Virginia our hostess, was very accomodating during our stay. The original draw to the area for us was the Ampleforth Abbey and nearby York. I thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality on this farm before and after long days out site-seeing. Excellent location with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Well located for many places of interest and only 30 miles from the coast. A very tranquil place to be.

I have just spent 2 weeks in Yorkshire and Durham, with a different B&B each night. Hall Farm was easily the number ONE place I stayed. I have been regularly staying at Hall Farm now for 8 years and have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who is looking for good accomodation and facilities in the area. The location is great; accommodation is first rate and the breakfasts the best you can get.!
