We stayed 2 nights whilst walking in the Brecons. The Plough and Harrow is a small pub which is only open Easter to November. It has 3 B and B rooms. The rooms are delightful and spotlessly clean, nice bedding and toiletries. generous selection of biscuits etc with the tea and coffee making tray. Sue is most welcoming and the breakfast... More

What a great place and one we would visit and use again. We used it as a base for our walking holiday in October and it has a wonderful couple as hosts. Tehy catered so well in food, help, information etc. The room was compact but clean and comfortable - well stocked hospitality tray each day. Shower was adequate and... More

We visited for an evening for food and drink as part of a vist to the area. This is an excellent local with good pub food and beers. In an outstanding part of the county - ideal for walking/cycling holidays. They also have rooms available. We were told that they close over the winter from the end of October. D&S... More

We have just enjoyed a 3 night stay in the twin room. Although compact, there was enough storage and hanging space with a good number of wooden hangers. The hospitality tray was generously stocked and bottled water was provided every day. The shower was electric so don't expect Niagara Falls but everything worked. The beds were comfortable and the room... More

We stayed for one night. The TV is still on top of the wardrobe but it works fine ! Home-cooked food was excellent. A bit noisy from nearby main road traffic, otherwise a delightful setting with welcoming hosts.

We stayed at the Plough and Harrow for one night while travelling in Wales. The location is pleasant in the heart of Welsh country with Brecon a short drive away. The owners were particularly friendly an welcoming and our room was clean and comfortable with tea/coffee, water etc. We had our evening meal there, Welsh lamb steaks, which was very... More

We booked this place the night before our stay, as we were planning on camping but got rained off. The bedroom was very clean and tidy, although we were disappointed with a few things, such as no soap to wash our hands in the bathroom! At £60 per night, we would have expected shampoo, shower gel etc etc as well... More
