We paid for the upgraded "suite" but were disappointed to find it was just a normal room with a fridge added... It was not a suite at all. The room was not very well appointed with few pillows, the wash hand basin in the room as apposed to in the bathroom, and the door was very drafty as it opened... More

Stayed two nights on Feb 15th and 16th 2013, to take advantage of the valentines special Room prices went from the 69$ a night regular price, to the inflated 169$/night! What a waste. Will never be back. Horrible service by the two girls running the place. They are the two most unprofessional girls I have ever met in my life.... More

We drove to Canmore in July. Stayed in this hotel for 2 days. We felt every thing is fine except climb the staircase. But our window got stunning views in result of climbing. Also the Canmore is a beautiful town. It is so enjoyably to walked around town.

Was in Canmore this weekend with a party of 12, for a bachelorette party. We were very disappointed and let down by our experience at the Drake. :(  We booked a reservation well in advanced, and the staff was not interested in accommodating us.

Although there were not a lot of extra's, we were mainly there to sleep. They have put a lot of effort into updating their rooms, and it shows! Very friendly staff, and an inviting pub attached to the Inn! Only complaints were some paint chipping and the water pipes were a bit noisy.

this hotel was very outdated, not impressed with it at all. It did have a nice view but that is about the only good comment I have for the lodge. I have left an item behind ( that wasent cheap) called back th next day once i realized it was not with me and they said it was not there... More
