Room was very uncomfortable - woke up this morning with bites - not sure what from. Bathroom was filthy - could draw on the dirt in the tub with your fingernail Beds were very tired and not very comfortable - save your money and sleep in your car!!

This hotel was pretty nice, decent size rooms, hot tub and pool, and friendly staff. The only gripe I have is that it was about 15 minutes from the falls. Other than that it was fine. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby which is nice as well.

The price of the room was more when we checked in - the owner's excuse was that the woman who took our reservation had given us a room with 1 bed instead of 2. The room was TINY with 2 double beds - each pushed tightly against the wall. When we turned on the electric heat the bedspread from 1... More

Nothing wrong with this motel - the bare minimum for the maximum $125 per night with no breakfast included. However, room, bed & bathroom clean and people very nice. The restaurant beside the motel is not bad - not great either. If traveling this far north in Ontario, better to wait to reach Terrace Bay just a few more miles... More

Simple 1950's motel - better than the Bates' but thin walls nice TV clean beds small - small bathroom. It is what it is. Above expectations. Better than most Travelodges in which we have stayed.

From the outside this motel does not look like much, kinda looks a little iffy mainly because it is surrounded by trailer houses, but on the inside it was clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay again. The only note I would make is the owners were extremely concerned about people making long distant calls. They asked us 3 times if... More

For a motel, this was great, we had driven 12 hours and were happy to find a clean place to lay our head. The owners were very nice. Quiet sleep, safe, good overall.

Stayed here while travelling across country with my husband and my small dog. I'm a housekeeper and operations manager for a cabin place in Nordegg, AB and though the rooms at the Peninsula Inn aren't fancy I can live with that as long as a place is clean and I'm VERY,VERY picky. I was happily surprised and impressed by how... More

Motel opportunities along route 17 are few and far between so we were very glad we stopped at the Peninsula Inn. This is a simple, old fashioned one story motel (kind of nice to be able to park right outside the door). No frills at all but clean and comfortable and next door to Manny's Restaurant which is also no... More
