We had a lovely stay with Twyla and Bruce at the end of May. Unfortunately it was all too short as we were on quite a tight timeline trying to pack in a lot to our Nova Scotia trip. Twyla recommended a great place for our evening meal and we really enjoyed the live music. The Dr Webster room we... More

We stayed at the Guest Lovitt this past May long weekend and we are glad we came upon this little gem. We hadn't originally planned on staying in Yarmouth but due to our travelling plans, found this B&B on TripAdvisor as well as being referred by another B&B! We arrived later than planned but were greeted by Twyla who showed... More

I've been travelling to Yarmouth for a number of years, and the service and hospitality offered byTwyla and Bruce are second to none. The B&B is well maintained, clean and spacious. The grounds are magnificent and it's very pleasant to enjoy an evening refreshment sitting on the outside patio. The rooms are equipped with flat screen cable television and the... More

I stayed at Guest Lovitt House B&B while in Yarmouth for the World Junior A Challenge. The home is absolutely beautiful, the attention to detail is spot on and so lovely and clean! The rooms are tastefully decorated and you truly feel so welcome and comfortable in their home. Twyla is a lovely, bubbly and kind woman, who went above... More

Loved everything about this stay - from being greeted with a glass of wine and sitting in the gazebo, to chatting with Twyla about her wonderful dog, Molly. The house is immaculate as are the grounds. The rooms are enormous, the bathrooms updated, quiet and private. The breakfast was amazing and delicious. The night we stayed, a Nor'wester came through... More

This B&B is the stylished accomodation we had in Nova Scotia. The 3 story building built in 1874, has a verry intersting background which can be followed on the B&B homepage. I'm sure that todays owner Twyla and Bruce take care of the jewel. The king sized bed in room #1 was very comfortabel and the breakfast awesome! We would... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this exceptional B&B. First class in every way. Gorgeous home, fabulous food, perfect stay! Loved all the homemade goodies. We'd have loved to stay longer.

My husband and I recently did a motorbike trip through Nova Scotia. Our last place to stay was at the Guest Lovitt House in Yarmouth. I found this gem on the internet and after reading reviews on trip advisor booked two nights. At one point we nearly had to cancel one of our nights prior to arriving. I was a... More

Rarely would we stay in a B & B if we have the option of a fine boutique hotel, but the options were limited in Yarmouth -- and we struck gold. The Guest and Lovitt families built this exquisite "great house," three stories with 12 foot ceilings, in 1874 so this facility has the bones of one of Europe's manor... More

Our opinion is that there is nothing to compare with this great B & B. Well-run by an extremely energetic lady, who strives to present and provide guests with the very best. The experience of staying in this beautiful historic house is worthhile in all respects.
