Brenda met us when we arrived offering a warm hospitality that continued throughout our stay. She truly made us feel special, from a Happy Anniversary banner in the dining room at breakfast to bringing us a blueberry cake adorned with sparklers. We highly recommend Murray Manor B&B.

We got to the Murray Manor after a very long day and were immediately upgraded to a larger, very beautiful and spotlessly clean room. Brenda was a wonderful hostess who made us both feel instantly at home. We also loved the way the entire B & B was decorated. We were able to linger over a delicious breakfast and enjoyed... More

We arrived after dark, somewhat frazzled, but were soon calmed by Brenda's relaxed manner and welcoming warmth. Before we settled in for the evening, she gave us a pamphlet with a walking tour of 28 historic buildings, Murray Manor (built in 1820 for Yarmouth's first doctor) being #1 on the route. My husband did the 90 minute walk the next... More

We spent 3 nights here in October 2012 and had a very relaxing time. The place is beautiful and Brenda is a wonderful host. The breakfast would keep you going for the rest of the day. Yarmouth itself has little going for it but it was always nice to return to the B+B and chill out.

We had been travelling for ages to get to Yarmouth. Unfortunately we were not impressed, every where was or appeared closed down. Had a little difficulty finding the B & B but when we did, it was a very pleasant surprise. Brenda, the owner is absolutely wonderful; charming and friendly, she was very helpful. We had a lovely large, comfortable... More

My husband could have written the beginning of liveoak33's review. He hates B&B's. Says they are just full of doilies and people you have to talk to that you would never otherwise talk to. But when traveling in a place like Nova Scotia, B&B's are your only option most of the time. And thank god for Brenda's charming home! Beautifully,... More

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Murray Manor B&B. Brenda went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. The home is beautifully and tastefully decorated and although it is in the central part of town, it was very quiet. A great place to stay!

Brenda is the perfect hostess; very considerate and wanting to make your stay an unforgettable one! Breakfast is way beyond anything I would ever expect! Her crapes are to die for! Rooms are lovely, cozy, clean and decorated nicely. Located right down town but yet away from the busy areas; close to the water where one can go for a... More

Brenda made our over night stay an experience we will remember for ever. Her advice to have a lobster meal at Stanleys was a fantastic suggestion...the meal superb. The lobster hut does not have a liquor license, however one can take their own drink. How many B/B owners would have a chilled bottle of wine to offer us as we left for dinner.Brenda would... I'm not really a fan of B&Bs. In my opinion, they are often "over the top" with dusty old Victorian junk. Murray Manor was not at all like that. We really enjoyed our stay there. Brenda is so incredibly warm and was very sweet to our 10 year old grandson. We would not hesitate to stay there again and would... More
