We’ve stayed at this property in the past. I booked directly with the property because they quoted a cheaper rate than Trip Advisor… And we could cancel up to 24 hours before. Not much snow, so it wasn’t very busy. Hot tub worked. Parking was fine. Price was good. Beds were comfortable.

Rooms were filthy, front desk person seemed like we were a burden entering the office to get a room. Highly overpriced! She said she would give us a discount but it wasn’t reflected on our bill. We went to eat at their restaurant and gouged again! I’m a Hotelier and have owned some beautiful old hotels but they were clean and very comfortable and priced appropriately. I believe they jacked up their prices because of the road workers in the area. I used to have crews stay in my places and treated them very well, same price for rooms as normal. Made sure they had lunches and evening meals. Those crews spend money in a small town. They probably will find other accommodations next time, as will we.

Passing through for one night and did not want to spend over $300 as charged by some of the chain hotels. Read previous reviews and saw pictures of renovated rooms which looked ok. Not sure if our room was so shabby because we had a dog friendly room, but very disappointing. Holes in the rug, banged up walls, peeling door paint - a very tired, beat up room. I would not recommend!

Do yourself a favour and Don’t stay here unless yu like to pay 220 for 65 value! Room stunk of air freshener, whiskers and hair on the sink, mud on the walls and a large freight truck ran all night outside of our window after requesting to have it moved. This place is a big No!

I was pleasant with this motel as a stopover night stay. It is right beside the highway and close to Tim's, gas station and some restaurants. They also offered coin laundromat. The rooms were clean and spacious. I wouldn't mind staying there again for a stopover while doing a long drive.

After reading the bad reviews, I was concerned, but this was the only place available that takes dogs. However, it's clean, comfortable and has good a/c. Beds and pillows are comfy. Perfectly fine for a stopover encounter to Prince George.

Not a planned stop. Two star at most. Room was tired and the only thing stopping me from calling it grungy is that the shower, toilet, sink, some flooring and lights were updated. I had to dust off the headboard, however the bedding was clean though put on sideways! How does that happen...did whomever not notice that the top sheet head was not at the top of the bed and that the ties of the duvet cover were not at the end of the bed:( Walls, baseboards, doors, AC not clean. Used Kleenex on the floor behind the mini fridge and bedside table (I had to search for a plug in to charge up my phone). All this does not make for a restful night sleep. I would recommend finding something nicer.

Stopped with the family for the night on the way to Vancouver from Grande Prairie. Reception was nice, rooms were clean and beds decently comfy. They also offered a fire pit with unlimited wood and bbq's with supplied propane. A nice touch to sit around and suck back a few cold ones after a long drive !

I booked through a booking site, and immediately received an email asking me to upgrade for a small amount (which I did). When I arrived, I was told that the housekeeper had not come in and I was being given another room with a King bed, for the same price. Unfortunately, in reality, I was downgraded. The room was old and tired. Yes, the bathroom had been redone, but the paint on the door was badly chipped, there was only one overhead light in the room (the second, over the bed, could not be used as the switch was located behind the high headboard). There had obviously been a water leak at some time (water stains on the ceiling, covered access planel was loose and out of place) and there was a moldy smell in the room. I turned on the bathroom fan, but that only made the moldy smell worse in the bathroom. For an overnight stop, it was just okay. Do I wish I had paid a bit more for something cleaner and more updated - YES! As other reviews said, it is basic and there are better options nearby.

We made an unplanned stop at the Valemount Vacation Inn on our drive from Whistler to Jasper. We chose the place to support a local independent place despite it looked a little tired from the outside. We found the food good at very reasonable prices. It was a relaxing low-key break on a long drive day and small talk with other guests and staff was a delightful plus.
