I visit Canyon Hot Springs and will every year! This play is amazing! I have recently had a child and brought him there and he loved it.. it helps with all our bones and we can soak for as long as we would like in the time frame they are open :) which is awesome hours! Everything is reasonably priced,... More

First the good. Soaking in hot springs surrounded by the stunning beauty of the Canadian Rockies is always great. Love the well kept surroundings of the facilities. The price of the basic cabin includes a decent hot breakfast & all day pool pass. Now the bad. No cancellations! Yup, you're reading right! If your plans change for whatever reason, you... More

I made a reservation to stay with Canyon Hot Springs campground online - I received no confirmation, and wasn't able to get ahold of them (or leave a message - because they don't have voicemail) despite calling 5 times during business hours to cancel. They then charge me for not staying with them. I was told I was sent a... More

This was met to be the last highlight of our summer vacation with our two grand children. We had pre booked a camping spot and when we arrived towing our 5th wheel the directions into the campground office where iffy at the least and once we arrived (near) the office it was on an uphill slope so parking and going... We camped there and rented a cabin for the grandparents. Turns out its a soccer field in the middle of a train track loop. Staff was militant and rigid!! Wouldn't let us use the pool pass that comes with cabin because we weren't sleeping in the cabin I PAID FOR. No reasoning with pool staff as they are totally uncooperative... More

DO not go here unless you like to be in a serviced site (beside the owners uninsured 40ft RV bus) where everyone can see you because there are 7 sites in a 70ft span! Or you could pick a tented site, 200ft away from the railway! That's a warm wakening on a Monday morning; four, 150+car, trains going by! My... More

My family and I were looking for a place near Calgary to camp with hot springs. We tried out Canyon Hot Springs this last weekend. I've never been so completely disgusted by my stay at a campground. We arrived to realize it was $35 per site for simply a tent, no service. But that's only a bit above industry standard... More

We had a great time, yes the train went by lots, but that is a part of the mountains no matter where you stay. We only planned to stay there 1 night, but stayed for 4. Very clean, friendly staff, great food. We will be back again.

Never written a review before but felt the need to warn people Triple A rated this place good, but failed to mention the Trans Canada railroad drives through the property near as we can tell every two hours all night long, and since it is going up the pass they really are on the throttles, The facility itself, is over... We had not been to Canyon for more than 7 years and were very surprised by what we found when we stopped for a swim in the hot pool before heading on to the Okanagan. Driving through the campground, we noticed that there were very few campers which was very unusual for the second week of July. When we used... More
