We booked for one night while skiing in Kicking Horse. In the gondola ;) We arrived there and we're greatly surprised at the place, which was all we wanted for a little night in the mountains... Great hosts, clean cabin with functional kitchen, and comfortable bed. Après ski in the spa was also very welcome. Would consider going back.

Stayed in a 1 bedroom cabin. I arrived and the service was amazing. I was aske what I wanted for dinner and I said steak. I was prepared an amazing steak dinner. The room is clean, cozy and so quiet. The views are to die for. A definite must for anyone passing through Golden. I will definitely be back!

After visiting Japser and the Jasper national park, we decided our next stop should be Golden. We were looking for a little chalet or cabin, where we could cook and have our own barbecue after dining out all the time. We came across Glenogle Mountain Lodge, and it was the best decision to stay there. The lodge and cabins are... More

We stayed at Glenogle for 2 nights near the the end of August. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner (recommend the rouladen), and had a breakfast that kept us fortified for a day of golf (we walked the course). Room was quiet and beds comfortable. The next day, we had another hearty breakfast (Doris is an amazing cook) and were set... More

My wife & I stayed here for 2 nights in September 2012. It was a great location in that it is out of town so is quiet with beautifull views but is less than 10 minutes drive into town. The rooms were nice- good beds, clean with good facilities. The hot water did run out on one occasion however. I... More

We wanted something self contained so we could do our own cooking, so we ended up choosing the Glenogle cabin. We were meeting my wive's brother and fiancee so we needed something with 2 bedrooms. The layout of the cabin was nice - a bedroom and bathroom at each end of the cabin with kitchen and living room in the... More

We stayed in a big 2 bedroom cabin. We had a fully appointed kitchen, comfy sitting area for relaxing, and nice big deck. The cabin was clean, but looked a bit worn out (ie. trim needed painting, holes in screen etc). Nice location in the mountains, away from town, quiet and close to rushing river. We were a bit surprised... More

The Lodge is an impressive building, and the accommodations are good and clean, but the whole thing was ruined by some very racist comments made by the hostess about lazy Turks overrunning Europe. Doris needs to learn some basic hospitality rules, eg don't poke a guest in the ribs and comment about them being too thin. It was too pricey... More

My mother and I had an amazing time at the Glenogle Lodge. The lodge is away from the main drag in Golden, which made it very relaxing and peaceful. The Lodge itself was beautiful and very well maintained, and the rooms were spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The owners were amazing as well, excellent customer service and they made us... More

We were passing through Golden on our way back from a 9 day Rockies adventure. My husband and I found Glenogle in one of the flyers we'd picked up along the way. It was a bit of a drive to get to them but it was so worth it. The cabins are immaculate, very comfy and really beautiful. The highlight... More
