This was a great place to be. Yves, our host, was knowledgeable, and very helpful. The century old, immaculately done home, is right in the middle of town. Plenty of free parking. The lake is literally a 'stone's throw" (if you are Sandy Koufax) away! Seriously, you can beat the location. The breakfast was great. Every need is anticipated. However,... More

The house has a very nice antique look. We spent one night in the room upstairs (Alcove). Backyard and pool are accessible and hosts were welcoming. Breakfast was delicous. Great locations, lake and restaurant are accessible within 5 minutes walk. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a quiet B&B. More

My wife and I needed to get away for the weekend and decided to visit Magog for some R&R. Fortunately, we stumbled upon Manoir de la rue Merry and had a terrific stay! We stayed for three nights and the service, food, and accomodations were fantastic. Value for money, staying at a B&B can't be beat and this one was... More

We have always wanted to visit this part of Quebec and had some difficulty deciding where to base ourselves for our four night stay. Magog proved to be a great choice - central, with plenty of availabilty accomodation wise and many well priced restaurants. This B and B has five rooms, but each one is well decorated and very clean.... More

It was our first time to Magog and have visited B and B's many times. This was a very good one. I don't know how the previous owners were, but the new hosts, Dominique and Yves do their utmost to ensure you have a great stay - even lending tools to fix a car! The Turner room was beautifully decorated,... More

After reading all the terrific reviews I had high expectations of the Manoir Merry and I have to say that I was not disappointed. The place is spotless and very cosy, the food is delicious and the new owners Dominique and Yves are very friendly and eager to please. They have only been there a month and already they ``own``... I was surprised to know that this place has been sold to new owner a month ago. Dominique was nice. More

We enjoyed staying here. Great breakfast and stay exactly as described by others. Very clean (cleaner than my house). Brian is very nice and enjoyable person to meet. The only negative was that I am 6 foot-2" and had to put my feet through holes in the foot of the bed to fit. I strongly recommend staying here. Even our... More

We were fortunate to stay at this B&B the last day in Nov. and the first day of Dec. 2008 Host: Bryan is a charming and bright man who speaks English and French perfectly. But even more importantly he loves to cook. He was attentive and available. One breakfast was as follows: First course: assorted cheeses from the local monastery,... More

From the moment we walked into the warm and cozy interior of the Manoir to the second we departed into the snow, Bryan and Dianne made us feel completely at home. The warmth of their hospitality, the charm of the decor of the rooms, and the abundance of a beautifully cooked, and elegantly served, breakfast made our stay just perfect.... More
